Cisternino is a small town not far from Locorotondo. Its historic centre is an enchantment of white houses, courtyards, arches and stairways. Real gem of Cisternino, the so-called "barbecuing butchers", in the narrow alleys of the old town. The customers choose their meat from the butcher counter which is barbecued and served on site.
