Giurdignano is a small town of only around 1000 inhabitants, surrounded by vast olive groves, and at a few km from the wonderful cost and sea of Otranto. Its territory is by some defined a “megalithic garden" given the remarkable presence of dolmen and menhir in the countryside, though in some cases it turned to become a private house garden today. Its position makes it easy to reach in a few minute drive both the fabulous beaches of the Alimini Lakes and Otranto’s attractions, while at the same time allowing a quiet retreat from the summer “movida” of the most touristic places.
