Ancient but recently renovated Masseria (fortified countryside mansion) with small swimming pool, not far from the sea (San Gregorio, at about 2 km), immersed in 4000 property with olive groves and Mediterranean vegetation. The setting gives a peculiar rural atmosphere, enriched by few but accurately selected pieces of furniture, which render the interiors charming, comfortable yet simple. The restoration works were oriented to preserve and enhance at best the original architectonic characteristics, such as the star-vaulted and barrel-vaulted ceilings, so dictating the use of the space; indeed, one of the two bedrooms has been kept smaller (around 10 for this reason. The property is fenced by original drystone walls (around 80 cm high) and has no gate at the entrance.

LAYOUT: vast and bright living room, which leads to all the bedrooms, furnished with sofas and armchairs; it extends in one single open space into the kitchen&dining area, where there is a table for 6 (stone-made kitchen, equipped with dishwasher, fridge with a freezer compartment, microwave with electric oven function); 2 double bedrooms, one bigger with fireplace; 1 bathroom with shower and access from the living room; outside shower with hot water, situated in a small courtyard adjacent next  to a bathroom; furnished pergola with sea-view; swimming pool and solarium area; uncovered parking space for 4/5 cars.

The weekly prices include electricity, water and gas utility charges, and bed and bathroom linen. Housekeeping service available upon request and at extra costs.
