Masseria Don Mattia is surrounded by lush olive groves and ancient oak forests, creating a serene and picturesque backdrop. It is made up of the main house and the annex. The annex, a charming and intimate retreat situated just over 20 meters from the main building, features spacious rooms with star-vaulted ceilings. Upon entering, you'll find a dining room with an open-plan kitchen. To its left is the living room, formerly a chapel, evidenced by the preserved ancient altar, now a delightful fireplace. Proceeding right from the dining room, a short hallway leads to a toilet on the right, and at its end, a master double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom equipped with both a shower and a bathtub. Adjacent, and accessible independently only from the outside, are two additional double bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom/shower. One of these features also a loft with two single beds.

Despite its peaceful seclusion, Masseria Don Mattia is conveniently located just 2 km from the charming village of Spongano, accessible by a scenic country lane perfect for a leisurely bike ride. A nearby shopping center, usually open on Sundays, provides added convenience for weekend arrivals and departures. The coastal town of Castro, with its picturesque harbor, ancient castle, and recently discovered statue of Athena, is just a 15-minute drive away.
