Palazzo Decò is an exquisite aristocratic palace located in the small but very charming town of Muro Leccese. It’s the perfect getaway for those who are looking for a quiet setting and wish to experience the authentic local life while being less than 20-minute drive from the sea.

This stunning palazzo dates back to early XX century. It has been finely restored with all the modern amenities while preserving its original charm and nature. Tastefully decorated throughout, it boasts bright and spacious rooms, all featuring high vaulted ceilings and air conditioning, and a lovely, fully equipped roof top with pergola for enjoying alfresco aperitivos with great views over the town. In addition, there are a nice inner patio on the ground floor, and a lovely terrace with pool on the upper floor which is perfect for cooling down anytime during the hot summer days.

Palazzo Decò comprises three floors and offers a total of four bedrooms and four shower rooms (plus one toilet).
From the main doorway one accesses a spacious entrance hall where, on the left, one immediately finds one large double bedroom with en-suite shower-room; and on the right, another, smaller double bedroom with a very nice shower-room built in a round space with a dome ceiling, resembling a trullo. Both these bedrooms have windows that overlook the street where the main access of the palazzo is found. Going straight ahead from the entrance hall, one first finds on the left an under-stair cupboard used to store the washing and drying machines; while on the right there is a little toilet with shower.
Access is then gained to the very bright living area, featuring huge glass windows overlooking the inner patio. This beautiful part of the house is divided in two different areas: a lovely sitting room with a fireplace, and a modern, fully equipped kitchen with an 8-seat dining table. From both such spaces one can get outside onto the patio, enclosed within high dry-stone walls, and equipped with outdoor furniture.
Going back to the sitting area, one finds the stone staircase leading to the upper floor, where there are two other bedrooms: a double and a twin bedroom, both with a balcony, and a shower-room. From the passageway on top of the stairs, one can eventually get outside onto the amazing terrace with pool, provided with outside furniture and also with an outdoor shower, and overlooking the underlying patio. As a last component of the property, there is also the paved roof terrace provided with a shaded pergola and a kitchenette.

Very comfortable and beautifully designed, Palazzo Decò is a gorgeous home which combines history and modern design.
